Pablo Picasso: Joy of Life Details
This exhibition catalogue presents 120 works from the Musée Picasso Antibes. Inspired by his ardent new love for young Françoise Gilot, the artist spent his time at the Côte dAzur (1946-47) painting scenes from antique mythology. This extremely creative period at the Grimaldi castle in Antibes culminated in his large painting "La Joie de Vivre". This book is enhanced by many personal photographs and in-depth essays.
Reviews
This book is very special for me because of its theme, and Cote d'Azur location, which is one of the best locations of a culture and art close to my life. It's a treasure.
