Really enjoyed this kindle short, it gave me a good over view of Roy Lichtenstein , and how he developed as and artist. It also touched on a few topics I find Interesting, location_ would Lichtenstein have made it as an artist if he was not located in NYC at this crucial time? His reproduction of small newspaper adverts on a large scale certainly created art that would not have been so striking if small, is size important? ( in painting) and luck, do you need a certain amount of luck to make it as an artist? No matter how he arrived at his first Mickey mouse painting, a certain amount of luck got it into the gallery.
