Reviews

I bought the work on the basis of a couple of photographs from the exhibit, likely fingerloop braiding technique, that I wanted to see more closely. That object wasn't reproduced in the text. What is there is a splendidly well researched set of articles about the Albers and their collection of objects from Central and South America, with a few good photos and some disappointingly small pictures, and from the website about the exhibit, clearly not an exhaustive representation of the exhibit, which I would have given my eyeteeth to have been able to see in person. The book is deeply worthy on its own for the quality of research, writing, and connections.
